So this is another attempt at a blog. Somewhat. I’m normally not one to keep a blog, as I’m sure no one will read it and I find it quite hard to believe anyone will find it interesting. But since my friend decided to pick up blogging regularly, I couldn’t help but pick up on his wake and see where it takes me. So let’s be forward here. I’m not a terribly interesting guy, and if I am, it’s mostly in person. The way I carry myself, speak, explain things, etc, are all aspects of my persona that can’t be carried into words. But I think I can spark something int he minds of individuals, or at least leave you with an interesting story, or more preferably, a smile.

Right on to the punch, the biggest conflict I’m faced with as of late is what view to take on drug usage. After my friend’s recent fore into blogging(with emphasis on his use of drugs), I became at a loss of what to think of him, and people who use drugs in general. The general consensus is to look down upon “these people” with contempt, possibly disgust for the choices they’ve made. I don’t believe in judging people, but in this case I’m forced to. My close friend has developed a life style that I’m not familiar or comfortable with, and I’m not sure how to take it. I’m not out to label him. Calling him a “junkie jerkoff” or “lowlife pothead” wouldn’t help at all, rather, I’m trying to decide whether or not to support the decisions he’s making.

Drugs have their positives and negatives, as all things do. I personally don’t support the positives. I don’t need a stimulant to make my day better, I’d rather not use drugs as a crutch, my mind should be able to handle it’s job without the influence of substance. But these are my opinions, should I let them effect the decisions he makes? John is making decisions based on his opinions, not my own. So by not supporting them I’m also disapproving of his opinion. And what would make his decision wrong? Other than misconceptions of the facts.

Tolerance is always an issue, where do you draw the line? To what extent can a person make his own decisions and live his own life without your disapproval? I’d say by the end of this I don’t support his decisions, primarily due to their outcome. You can choose to “roll on ecstasy” or “get high”, but at the end of the day if you’re life isn’t going in the right direction you have to take a step back and look at the decisions you’re making and how they’re effecting where you’re going. And it’s hard to say narcotics don’t have a large impact on your life.

Other than that, Marilyn Monroe’s sex tape has been discovered and bought for $1.5m. Basically it’s a third-person blowjob shot, which sounds terribly interesting. The fuss with the FBI is understandable, but why the average joe would be slightly interested is beyond me. I’ve seen women just as beautiful as her in more ludicrous positions. For free.

Ever felt like Spiderman?
